facebook photoRachael Holmes has been teaching for over 15 years and currently operates a growing private studio in the South Denver Metro area.  She teaches students living in Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Littleton, Centennial and Castle Rock.  As a former public school music teacher, Rachael has extensive solo and choral experience that enhance her teaching.

Mrs. Holmes received her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University where she completed a comprehensive study in vocal pedagogy, and also enjoyed performing and touring with BYU’s elite choral groups.  Most recently, she sang with Kantorei for five years under the direction of Richard Larson in the Denver area.

Rachael’s stage experience includes various leading roles in major operas as well as musicals.  As a professional soloist, Rachael has performed with the Canton Symphony Orchestra and was featured at the Breckenridge Music Festival.  She has also won numerous awards and competitions, including NATS competitions.

As a private voice teacher, Mrs. Holmes hopes to provide students with a solid foundation in vocal technique that will allow them to sing beautifully in a variety of settings and gain the most from each musical experience.
